our photos
For our 3rd birthday we decided to let the Gingerbread Man take over Ginger Fig! We asked community groups, schools, colleges, local artists and the public to submit 2-d and 3-d pieces of work to help us celebrate. And boy did the people of Taunton rise to the challenge as we have had hundreds and hundreds of incredibly diverse creations: collages, paintings and clay gingerbreads from some of the youngest children; felt and other textiles; pieces made from wood and mirror; wire sculpture, paintings, glass and even a 6 foot willow man and an animation created specially for the occasion. We'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has taken part so very much as it has been a wonderful experience for us all. We will do more individual thank-you's in due course, and award some prizes and certificates too! But for now, here are some photographs to give you a flavour of the exhibition! Go on, take a look!
