Yes - we need a part time member of staff to complete our team in the run up to a certain busy time of the year... (apparently I'm not allowed to mention exactly when that is, but I think you can probably guess)

The right person will need a mix of skills - alongside good customer facing and other retail essentials, they will need to demonstrate an interest in and understanding of social media, website maintenance and general computer skills.  Financial rewards will not be enormous, but the varied nature of the work should mean you will never be bored, and there will always be biscuits, tea and coffee for the taking.

Useful Information

Hours 16 per week, Tuesday - Friday.  Actual hours to be discussed.  Initially this is a 6 month contract but ideally this will be extended and may become permanent.

Experience:  previous retail experience is preferred but not absolutely essential

Skills:  confidence dealing with the public;  a working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel (basic spreadsheets); familiarity with social media (Twitter/Facebook).

Qualities:  you will need to be reliable, flexible and conscientious, with a good eye for detail, taking pride in your work.  As with all work in retail, patience and a good sense of humour are essential!
